Dylan's Design Thoughts
Making a thoughtful addition to the timeless Shaker design motif was no easy task. As a lover of the simplicity of Shaker design, I chose to add some subtle nature-inspired curvature where Shakers would have utilized straight lines. I love the round shaped top, inspired by the shape of a hickory leaf, as it really provides the congregating effect of a round table while still maintaining a rectangular footprint. I think the Oyster line would be a perfect fit for any taste, whether that be traditional, transitional, or contemporary.
