Wine Fridge Credenza

About the piece:

This wine fridge credenza was our first commissioned piece, and boy was it a fun one to start out with. Working closely with the client, we determined a shaker style design with clean yet elegant lines would suit their classic Cape style home. The client expressed a need for durability (see the large dog above), so white oak was an obvious choice for both its strength, weight, and ability to maintain stability in a variety of seasonal conditions. Quarter-sawn boards with a beautiful ray-flecking pattern were used for the top, and a hard-wax oil finish made for both an extremely durable finish as well as a really soft and tactile feel.
